Bradby Shield 2026

The stage is set for one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic school rugby encounters.

Today, the proud arch rivals, Royal College and Trinity College, will meet at the Royal College Rugby Stadium for the 80th Bradby Shield encounter. More than just a rugby match, the Bradby is a celebration of tradition, pride, passion and generations of unforgettable sporting memories.

It promises to be a thrilling contest as our boys take the field against Trinity, carrying the hopes, spirit and support of the Royal community. Every tackle, every run and every try will matter, and the energy from the stands will play a huge part in lifting the team.
