Mr. Ranjith Senanayake

I joined Royal in 1976 and retired in 2005 almost 30 years at Royal.

I taught Science, Health Science, From year 6 to year 11.

I was involved in Extra Curricular activities being the Mic in Cricket from under 13 age group to 1st eleven teams.

From 1998 I was the Senior Ganes Master who was the main coordinator of Sports at Royal.

In 2000 appointed as the Asst. Principal in Charge of Extra and Co-Curricular activities at Royal.

Mrs. Anula Balasuriya

පුතා චූලා, අපව මතක් වීම හරිම   සතුටක්. පුතාලා සමාජයේ ඉහළින් කටයුතු කිරීමඊටත් වඩා ආඩම්බරයක්. පුතාලට දළදා සමිදු පිහිට ලැබේවා. සොඳුරු අනාගතයක්පතන්නේ අනුලා  බාලසූරිය ගණිතය ගුරු මෑණියන්.

Mrs. Kusumi Soyza

Mrs Kusumi Soyza, joined the Royal Teaching staff in June 1979 as a Chemistry Teacher. She was one of the popular teachers during our time at the College.

Her teaching technique was quite impressive and she was also kind to all her students. She taught Chemistry to both Maths and Bio streams.

Mrs Soysa retired in 1990 December and migrated to Australia.

Mrs Soysa is still very much active and to keep herself occupied, conducts Chemistry classes to VCE Students.

Mrs. Ranee Balasuriya

Mrs Ranee Balasuriya is a Mathematics Teacher.

Her teaching career spans over 40 years.

She had the opportunity of teaching in the golden era of Royal College, when Mr L D H Peiris was the Principal.

Mrs Balasuriya joined the teaching staff of Royal College in the early 1980s. Her 2 sons also had their education at Royal College.

She retired in the mid 1990s just before the admission of her two grandsons to Royal.

Her passion is to teach maths to weak children and see them progress with good results.
